offquiet

about

quiet luxury for people who know what they want from life.

folded knitwear and a bottle in a square of light

offquiet is for people who have stopped needing to be noticed. who choose a thing once, wear it for years, and would rather be remembered for how they were than for what they had on. nothing here announces itself. it is meant to be recognised up close, by the person beside you.

what we make

eaux de parfum — unisex, dry, mineral. clothing cut wide and quiet, made in small runs. a dry face oil that disappears into the skin. the list grows slowly, and on purpose.

how

everything is composed by hand, in small batches: the finest naturals we can source, wherever in the world they grow, and modern molecules where stability, longevity and fixation call for them. notes are built one at a time and given time to settle, so that balance is found rather than forced.

the maker

offquiet is made by zarina maizel — an independent perfumer and fashion designer, working between languages and landscapes. each fragrance starts not with a formula but with a memory — a place, an hour, a feeling — which is then translated, patiently, into scent. the clothing is drawn the same way.

what a perfume is for

we think of a fragrance less as a statement than as a keepsake — something that returns you to a moment you thought had passed. made to be precise rather than loud, personal rather than performed. worn close to the skin, and discovered slowly.

why it costs what it costs

small runs instead of large ones. materials chosen before the price is chosen. time given where time is what the material needs. that way of working sets the price, and we would rather keep the method than lower it.

wear less noise.
